What we collect
Contact form. The form on our contact page runs entirely in your browser. It does not transmit data to us. Information reaches us only if you choose to email it.
Emails. If you email us, we receive your email address, name and anything you include. We use this only to reply and, with your explicit permission, to feature your garden.
Server logs. Our hosting provider may record technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited period.
Legal basis
We rely on legitimate interests to respond to messages and secure the site, and on consent where we publish anything you share.
Retention
We keep correspondence for up to 24 months, then delete it unless an ongoing conversation requires otherwise.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to host the site and email, or where required by law.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and data portability. Email us to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
